Ok, I've been using long URLs and have finally come up on this in my list of stuff to do. Will it screw things up at all if I change to short?

I'd REALLY like someone here to answer this instead of me having to post at the FFs. I'm sure within 30 minutes Dazzy would have posted some drivel about something irrelevant and really just piss me off....then I'll get banned for flaming the hell outta him.

You should be ok, better in fact over time. I say over time because It will take the search engines a little while to recrawl things. Also, it just looks better too. for example your users would have there own unique url www.yoursite.com/username. as opposed to all that other stuff in the line. www.yoursite.com/username/index.php?do=/username

Oh, and by the way, Dazzy can go $%$# himself!
